A Conversation for The Rolling Rock Ranch

It is not up to you either Amy to determine the outcome and you should not assume that the Posse stays together. The Explosions have happened and the gnu's and longhorns have stampeded. You have to go along and do something appropriate given the events that have happened. If you personally think that staying still is OK then you may stay still. AMCJ for one has gone along with the events and you might find that it is condusive to the storyline as well for you to "play along" without getting hung up about continuity.

Amy the Ant - High Manzanilla of the Church of the Stuffed Olive Posted Jul 29, 2002
The herd had calmed down and were wandering amongst the Posse. To suggest that the members of the Posse have since then run off to far flung parts of the ranch is just silly. They have probably not gone anywhere even if whatsisname has been carried off on his horse. I've landed on Bonnie's head which is exactly where Caer put her last time she posted.

just relax and enjoy the adventure - the people doing all the hard work behind the scenes to make this fun for you have your best intrests in mind. A lot of work has gone into this - just have a bit of trust and get into it. If you go with the flow you'll see how well it turns out. It's not silly - it's fun. Please don't get difficult - that makes it harder for us all to have a good time.

Munchkin Posted Jul 29, 2002
*Runs off after his horse, to which is tied AMCJ* Hie, come back here you.
*And off to the Corral goes he*

Witty Moniker Posted Jul 29, 2002
Since you have the reins, you can say where Bonnie is headed, Caer. And since Munchers and AMCJ ended up at the corral, why don't you pick one of the other spots and we'll see what we turn up.
Oh, I'll be out running errands for most of my morning, so feel free to have me participate as needed.
</ooc?

dElaphant (and Zeppo his dog (and Gummo, Zeppos dog)) - Left my apostrophes at the BBC Posted Jul 29, 2002
/* Tries to stay in one place while the cattle stampede in several directions at once. Despite his horse's fancy sidestepping, ends up at the barn.
Meanwhile, Zeppo who has just trotted into the pasture, heads barking towards the bunkhouse. */

Reverend Lovejello (a.k.a. John Wesley Hardjello) Posted Jul 29, 2002
*In mid swipe with his bible, the reverend is knocked off his horse onto the back of a stampeding gnu and careens backwards towards the ranch house. *
It ain't fair! Git me off this gnu, I sherd be ridin' a longhorn! An yer ain't givin' me the jewel yet! I need the jewel if yer's ter see yer friend agin!

Elsewhere (uncertain where)
*BeeBee needs to go. She is very picky about where she goes and she hates to walk herself. No one is showing any indication of aking her out. She begins to whine piteously*

BeeBee is in the church, where continuity has kept her clamped to someone's arm, sort of like a pit bull.

Amy the Ant - High Manzanilla of the Church of the Stuffed Olive Posted Aug 10, 2002
*the Ant appears suddenly in midair* the animals in the paddock are nervous and unsettled but, distracted by the motion of animals in the distance, they don't notice the ant on the dragonFLYbot*
*Amy flies slowly towards a large ranchhouse assessing the situation as she goes*
