*Has been bustling about with pans of water, heating them up, carrying them off and returning with more*

*with teh drued milk, custard powder and a bunch of bananas left by the apes, makes banana custard and places in the battered old fridge to cool.

Prepares a large pan full of chili, places on stove to start cooking*

I'm just nipping to the bath-house to freshen up.

*sniffs chili*

This chili is just about ready.

Amos, I found bags of corn meal. That will go just fine with the chili. I'll get started on that right away.

*Gets to work assembling the other necessary ingredients.*

*comes out of bathhouse rubbing hair with a towel, wearing a knee-length skirt, petticoats, a white flowy blouse, and sandals*

figured i ought to get in period dress, though i couldn't bring myself to wear the boots.

Howdy, folks. Smells great in here. I checked the town and there's no jellos left. No Apes, either.

*Serves himself some chili and cornbread.*

*walks in cheerfully whistling*

Well good mornin everybody! Smells mighty fine in here. *takes a tortilla and starts filling it with chilli* And you ladies has cleaned up remarkably well. Praps us gents should take a turn in the bathhouse after we eat, que? Then we can head out and finish the job.

*looks out onto the street* Yep, sure could do with rain.

*on her way to the bath house, but is distracted by the scent of food*

*overhears Billy's remark upon entering*

*turns in the doorway with a heavy sigh*
