Although not a member of the AFC, I would just like to say that tuc made me laugh on many occasions and I miss him very much

Thanks for popping by Caerwyn. I'll add you to the book of Rememberance if I may. We're all missing Tuc - he touched a lot of people.

That's a beautiful memorial, Red Dog.
How fragile life is. How precious every
moment of it is.

Thank you Paul - it's very kind of you to say so.

Bassman - Funny how people never ceases to amaze me! Posted May 6, 2002
I'm very sorry guys - one and all. I don't think I ever met Tuc, but he seems to be missed deeply, by a lot of people that I respect.

I never met Tuc either, but I miss him all the same.
But as long as he is remembered, he will never be truly gone

Add me to the list too, Red Dog. I haven't signed on (as BBW) in a couple of weeks, so it took a while for me to learn this news, and at first I didn't know if it was really true or not. I see now that it is and I feel terrible.

Granny/BBW I'm in Houston at the moment and will update the memorial as soon as I get home. It shook us all when we found out and I'm personally still coming to terms with the news. Mrs Red Dog and I speak often of the terrible sadness of a friends life passing too early. We take consolation in that h2g2 brought the likes of Tuc to us and we'd never have known his brand of gentle and kindly humour without the site.
He was the first of us to go in such a way which makes all a little harder to bear.
Take care of yourselves everyone

I hope that somewhere in that big sky Tuc is looking down on us h2g2 researchers and his family and friends and making sure that we are not sad for him, hes at peace now

*walks up to the pool and lays s on the surface of the water, watching sadly as they scatter on the surface*
*sits on the grass by the water and whispers 'so long, Tuc' toward the flame*
