In your memory - their lives are kept,
no matter what you do or say,
no matter how many tears are wept,
nothing takes those good thoughts 'way.
Time and pain - distant friends -
in closeness they strong feel,
but separate the wounds heal
and new friendship some crack' mends.
Always be, they will,
in thought of yours around -
at moments you astound
and happiness you fill.
And other people you'll touch
with the life you lead as much.
