We have Silurians Dodgy on-set photo aside, an actress has said that she'd never had to use prosthetics until she played a Silurian. Sounds like it's a two-parter. Can't remember whether I posted before but the guy who played Lennie in 'This Life' plays Van Gogh in the Richard Curtis episode.

I expect I'm singing to the choir but there is a new trailer:

I expect that much of the episode grid posted above is accurate but the (admittedly) humorous "Title & Plot Details" for episode 7 make me wonder how accurate!

A nice trailer BUT this is an example of the BBC wasting money on something that isn't even a programme.
It seems to me that they spend more time and energy on trailers than programmes sometimes.
The olympic snowboarder CGI cartoon.
There was a trailer for a factual programme about the banking sector in London which had a dragon or similar flying through 'the Square mile'.

I would have thought it qualified as a very good use of money. The trailer was made to be shown in cinemas (which is why it's so skewed towards a 3D experience), but it's also been used on TV and online.

Why is the BBC wasting money showing adverts in cinemas for a programme that only my 96 year old gran and Brian Sewell wouldn't know about and which is on a public service broadcasting company who is screwing up it's finances due to too high salaries and diabolically managed building projects?

But...this is money they *didn't* spend on too high salaries or . I'd much rather they over spend on programmes I do like than be equal and fair across the board.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, Ictoan What's more, I don't often go to the cinema but, when I do, most of the trailers are rubbish: e.g. he was a guy who did/didn't do something, he decided to try and change what he had/hadn't done; watch this film and see the "journey" he takes undoing/doing what he has/hasn't done!
I shudder to imagine: "It was a time of war, it was a time war..."

Spot on BBS. I don't know the specifics of the story but he meets Amy when she's 8 and then again when she's an adult.
The first minute of the first episode wil be available on the DW section of the BBC website at 18.30 today (Sat 27th).
There was also an excerpt from episode 6 on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross (if anyone wants to check it out on iplayer, Matt Smith was the last guest so move to about 42 minutes 54 seconds into the show and the excerpt is about 51m16s.)

Indeed, looks like Moffats going to use the TARDIS's time travel properly again. Especially when you hear the dialogue of the trailer where he meets the young girl - sort of telegraphs whats going to happen.

Stuff from the trailer:
I'm loving the thought of River Song becoming a semi-permanent companion. I always reckoned she had the potential to be a very interesting, very independent character and the trailer seemed to show it. There's a short bit where she's blowing a kiss at some soldiers before being sucked out an airlock and into the waiting TARDIS. Just looks incredibly
Looks like there's going to be a lot of outer space stuff too which makes me happy.
