Or she copuld be The Rani, River Song being her Alias, a bit like John Smith.

It doesn't necessarily have to be marriage to be a very very close relationship. And then, as someone else pointed out, they did mention him leaving and coming back multiple times, which is arguably not the behaviour of a husband to his wife.

I liked both episodes, warts and all, but I must say that Rigobert Song was very Bernice Summerfield (am I allowed to mention that name on a bbc site?! ) Bernice would have called him sweety. My immediate thought of why the Doctor would have told her his name was at a marriage ceremony (think how many embarrassing middle names must have been outed in such a fashion.) I thought it was a bit warped for her to end up in the virtual life but someone pointed out to me that he may be able to work out how to save her. Plus, we know he'll meet her in the future so the character is still a going concern. to whoever made the reference to the Ood prophecy about his song- good spot and I think it did refer to this Song.
Next week looks good (from what I saw in the trailer) and then we get Rose the week after. I think the Daleks will be in that episode and the baddie at the end of the series will be a surprise (which gives me a horrible feeling that the Sontarans will be back ) Cpt Jack will almost certainly re-appear before the end of the series, as I'm sure will Martha- could be fantastic, depending on how it's all done.
(Going back to the gossip, it wouldn't surprise me if Georgia Moffat got with Sophia Myles and John Barrowman got with DT!! How many of us would be disappointed then? Be careful what you wish for )

"...the baddie at the end of the series will be a surprise "
Alex Kingston could make Riversong into a great baddie.

Nah, watch them, then come and tell us that "THAT MAN RUINS MY LIFE", without pointing out just where his acting/character goes wrong.
But seriously, I hate John Barrowman's face, voice, personality and "delivery". I've seen better actors at kids nativity plays, and smaller egos at Premiership football clubs.

No, he plays a cocky narcissist. That's be like me playing a moody, arrogant ranter. Hardly a stretch.

Fun how the internet suddenly contains thousands of references to 'vashta nerada' There was not a single hit a fortnight ago. "

I like pretty much the whole cast except Barrowman. Oh, and Billie Piper. And not that it matters now, but Chris Eccleston's two gear acting (manic! morose. Manic! Morose. MANIC! MOROSE. Repeat ad nauseum) has wound me up since Shallow Grave.

Is the next episode going to be a variation on the theme of terrorism? So instead of monstrous terrorists, we have terrorist monsters?

Dunno, I thought it looked like another disaster movie thang.
No Donna by the looks of things. I am troubled by how much I've taken to her!
(just for fun)
