Medusa cascade from the prophecy in Pompeii ...
"Even the word doctor is false. your real name is hidden. it burns in the stars in the cascade of medusa herself. You are a lord sir. A lord of time."

Giford Posted Jun 16, 2008
Didn't the Medusa Cascade have something to do with the Master also?
And after all the hulaballoo about the Doctor's name last week, he pointedly refused to reveal it this week.
Some spoilers about the previously-unnamed episode on Wikipedia (don't see what's such a giveaway in the title, or why it can be released now).

Yup ... I happened across some spoilers on Youtube ... I won't mention them here.
Viewing Youtube did however point out that I'd fail to notice in the "Turn Left" trailer, that Donna has something on her back (Pompeii prophecy) ... people even point it out and ask her to show us her back ... we momentarily see it in the mirror ... looks like a return to Planet of the Spiders
The start of the trailer gives away the non-plotline ... "Found A body, Sir. The Doctor is dead". UNIDENTIFIED body under blanket drops sonic screwdriver ... so hands up those who think was it really him ...

Yeah, I nearly cheered out loud when I saw that we are *finally* going to find out what's on Donna's back.
My guess is an evil Zarbi that drain its victims of all acting ability.

On the name thing, I thought, if the final episodes in last season were anything to go by, that a time lord chose their name and it wasn't assigned to them. Unless I'm getting confused...
If the trailers for the next ep are anything to go by, it looks like it could be pretty good.

I may be mistaken, but I think the UNIT solider that says "Found a body, Sir. The Doctor is dead" in the trailer is one of the two that the Sontarans where controlling in the two-parter. I think.

"...is one of the two that the Sontarans where controlling in the two-parter. I think."
I believe they were both shot by a Sontaran when they "reported for duty" to him during the Sontaran's initial attack in the ATMOS plant

Yeah, I think you're right. The guy in the trailer seemed familar, though.

I just had another look at the trailer - and I agree - the guy with the radio at the start who says "we've found a body" does look like the taller of the two!

They're obviously recycling dead extras in the Cardiff rift.
That thing on Donna's back does look a bit like a Zarbi. Baby Racnoss back for revenge?

I heard the spoiler for the last episode(s) on the radio within the last couple of days, which annoyed me enormously.

Re: Spoiler...possibly one of the worst kept one's. Also, the BBC know that they will get more people to watch if they can sneak out facts about a baddie.
OK, in the season 2 finale with the Cybermen the Daleks were a surprise but the ratings may be higher if people know who is gong to be in the finale.

Also, here's an anagram: Medusa Cascade = decade as a scum. Any thoughts?

Medusa Cascade is also: *Adama Succeeds*
crossover plot with Battlestar Galactica? Or a reference to that git with the computer interface port in the middle of his forehead? Maybe he added a letter onto his name so he wouldn't be recognised.

and there were more than a few people at the time thinking he may become a new Davros.
