Yes, I unasamedly love my little Volkswagen Golf even if neither of us are in our first flush of youth! It's a very willing little car and I love driving it. I consider it to be my first real car as I shared my previous one with my son.
I would think that within five years petrol as a fuel will be changed, probably to something biodegradable if the technical kinks can be straightened out.

Thanks. And I mean it most whole-heartedly!
Did you read the Daily Mail article about the car wasteage created by the car scrappage scheme. As the original intention of the scrappge scheme was to reduce pollution and greenhouse gases, there is something wrong with a plan where so many old but still usable cars will just be destroyed, when many could have lasted up to another five years! How is this going to help the environment?<
Personally I suspect that it was all a ploy to help the car industry sell more new cars!

If only they'd get a move on and make electric cars more of viable option. Or, even better than that, hydrogen fuel car mentioned in the Entry! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/8103106.stm
