Well, if you wanted a write up of the event itself, sadly lacking an actual transcript, you have but to pop over to the Post archives. smiley - smiley

Looks up Richard's publishers in the Writers Handbook. Well if I'm going to have to hang around all year for the BBC to get its act in order I may as well put in a request myself.

DD, what are talking about? Jim Lynn has very kindly offered to email Richard Dawkins personally. These things take time. Please be patient.

Someone mention Stephen Fry taking up time before hand. Are his comments documented anywhere?

Liam.

Oh yeah Sam I know Jim has said he will post a request but then it'll get tied up in lawyers for ages before it appears on here. So I'm just using the resources at my disposal included my own writers headed paper. smiley - smiley

DD, if things are tied up with lawyers, then no-one will be able to publish it anyway. Jim Lynn is an official BBC representative - leave it to him for now, eh?

We do appreciate the help, DD, but just worried that a two-pronged attack might confuse things. smiley - cheers

(Besides, Jim knows Richard personally, so...)

Having said that, in the UK it looks like it's going to be a right scorcher this weekend, so even though we want the entries, I'd hate it if anyone missed a rare moment of British summer just because they were slaving over a hot computer smiley - biggrin

Jims
(who, nevertheless, will be spending this weekend slaving over... etc etc - damn the person who invented deadlines for books)
