Bagpuss, I have allergies too, and we have a cat. It mainly affects my eyes. Lord C. uses a Nasonex inhaler to curb his allergies. I don't remember what I use, but it's something without a decongestant, since I have hypertension....

Now then Xantief.
I think it only works if my plane is hijacked. There doesn't seem to be a more general kidnapping cover. Also, banjos are not mentioned anywhere in the policy.

I just pop pills to stop the sniffles, Lady C. Since my worst symptom is usually puffy itchy eyes I don't know if an inhaled thing would do much good.

Bagpuss, two of the four cats (Chico and Rocky) are so terrified of strangers that you'll never even see them. They'll probably go live next door for a few days. Minerva will want to be petted and will sleep with you if given half a chance, but you'll want your door closed anyway. Molly will make an appearance so you can see how superior she is and then spend the time outside. She much prefers to be outside unless it's bitter cold. Molly and Minerva are both short-haired.
It's the dog who sheds. Her name is Annie and she will expect you to pet her. She's little and very nonthreatening - a real sweetie.
Xantief, I can't kidnap Bagpuss because I don't play the banjo.

Didn't see you there, Sis. I'm doing too many things at once.

Only banjo playing hillbillies can kidnap, then???? With our bunch, I think it's safe to say that everyone will be safe. I know of no one in the Possum Bluff clan who plays the banjo.

Unless they have talents we aren't aware of. After barbecues, they are normally musical in other ways.

B4 lives in Missouri, but isn't a Hillbilly.

Hyp, do you still have my email address? Can you email me your brownie recipe? Damn, it probably has chocolate doesn't it. I could substitute carob, I guess.

Chauncey and DZ
U198110 are going to try to make it. We are both poor college students so we'll see if it works out.

I hope you can make it to the meet. I am still looking forward to it!
Hey Hyp, should I try and get a batch of wine ready, or is Mr C going to supply it all?
Presidential Meet
Hypatia Posted Mar 9, 2006
Yea Chauncey and DZ! I'll add you to the list.
Taralome, I'll e-mail you a really good brownie recipe. I've never had them made with carob. But there are peanut butter brownies, maple brownies, blond brownine - lots of kinds without chocolate. I'm soooooooooooooo glad I'm not allergic to chocolate.
Marv, I think all they're bringing is cranberry. If you want to make some, then that would be super. Phred and Xantief may be bringing beverages as well.

Marv, Our plans right now are to bring five gallons of cranberry wine. We may bring some Spiced Apple or Pear as well, but not as much of those.
We are about ready to embark on the spring wine making spree. As soon as strawberries become plentiful at Sam's we'll probably start with those.

Taralome, the peanut butter brownies are scrumptious. I won't forget. I just have to locate the recipe.
