That must be what the Marmite Police are here for....
I'm going to suggest Marmite Sarnies at the Next H2G2 do....

Well from initial evidence they should be popular. Perhaps a proper update will help Abi sort out the catering

I reckon the Menu should be:
Marmite Soup
----------
Marmite Sarnies
Marmite and Cheese Sarnies
Marmite on toast
--------------
Mamrite Chees to finish
(Or possibly Marmite Meringue Pie)
All served with Marmite Beer... (or possibly Young's Double Chocolate Stout!)

Right updated apart from one vote from Lenny who said "iranu".
Does this mean love or hate?
Phew, that was hard work.
Well, you lovers certainly are winning.
Three comments:
1. Those whose tastes are superior are always in the minority
2. This leaves more Strawberry Jam for the rest of us
3. If this stuff is so popular, how come my local supermarket (a very large Sainsburys) has only on tiny little bit of a shelf for their entire supply.
I reckon you lovers are just more vocal

As in Eranu and Oovavu associated with Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer?
Pair of loonies they are... funny ones, too.

Bagpuss Posted Oct 29, 2001
Eranu is the secret prize, so that was probably an "aye", but since the sane people are lagging behind, why not put him as "nae"?

What, hitting AKA round the head with a Frying pan? I'm all for that too...
Orcus, you coming to the Marmite Meet-up in January?
Also Point 3. Those of the Marmite Elite will recognise the joy of Marmite and Strawberry Jam or Honey, or Raspberry Jam as being on a Par with the Spread of Gods itself....

26th January?
Hmmm, I'll have to put that on the maybe list. End of January is usually poverty time.

Somewhere in Holland I believe. I'm not sure whether they sell Marmite there, perhaps Argon0 can check for us all

maybe he will check if he prolongs his beleif in hitting this "AKA" Person about the head with a tremendously oversized frying pan!
I Mean, if you meant me, of course, You only had to write it like as follows:
aka
Capital letters in my name (particularly as in Aka, but also particularly as in AKA, or even aKa or experimentations), as anyone who "chats" to me would know, I hate, detest resent.. all those plus one
So Frying pan on Head yes, mis spelling my name (well.. sort of) no, sorry..
*receives another hit on the head for being an old barrrrrrrr - st*d at the age of 15*
aka

GD - it is indeed in Holland about 60 miles east of Amsterdam, and I will try and find some Marmite out there...... (not that I actually eat Marmite the brand these days - I find that the Supermarket Substitutes are just as good...
