none of the rest of the beans work OK? that's a little weird, ya know? ... kind of makes possible stuff that isn't supposed to be ... like a new "sky" location for everywhere in the game ...

[Flunk] Duh, TASTY! yum yum! *rubs tummy and falls on the ground like a little child, fast asleep*

Flunk is the stupidest giant I have ever created. Most giants are more intelligent, but not /very/ intelligent ...

I always thought giants had more intelligent than that.

*Gandark comes into sight from somewhere*

[Gandark] Well, there are some who are almost what you'd call smart ... but being so strong, you know ... they kind of don't have to have brains. I mean, think about it. No con-artist would dare try to take advantage of a Giant. They'd get smashed, no matter what their contract said!

*a thick mist forms around the camp and surrounding woods. A dark figure can be seen walking through it toward camp*

[Anole] sees the figure and jumps up, taking his sword out*

*the figure nears the camp near Gandark*

: Now, I dinn't say I was trying to make a new location that way. It is just a useful way to get around having to say climb vertically. Say up a sheer cliff-side, for example.

[Sharp]: "...Hello (?)"

[Sharp]: " I betcha he,"

*indicating Flunk*

( can be loudly overheard)

"...is probably strong enough that (if'n we somehow could find a way to convince him to), he probably is capable of taking some coal in 'is hand, and crunching it-'till it becomes diamonds."

*Notices 3 bags of coal nearby.*

: Isn't that convenient.

[Sharp]: "Now I bet even if we were to each keep a whole bag for ourselves, it would still be feasible to buy this guy a whole cart-load of meat-pies, eh? You think that'd be a decent trade (I mean what exactly use would a giant have for diamonds that are at a person (cleverly/tactfully substituted in place of the word human)-scale?)."

[Sharp]:

"Hmmm..."

*ponders it*

[Gandark] Well ... whatever you do ... don't get a Giant mad! *shivers*

*an elf steps out of the mist, which promply disappears*
[Skan]: Hi, Anole. Are these your companions you told me about. I am Skan Rashkae.
*sits by the fire and takes some jerky out of a pouch and eats it*
I am a Gray Wizard.

[Anole]: Playing with illusions again, Skan? Don't wake up the giant please.

[Gandark] Really? That's neat ... perhaps you could help us with our current problem. Sharp here wants to fool our new Giant friend into making diamonds for us somehow ... assuming he has the strength. We don't want to get the Giant mad ... at least not until he can't harm us ... and also I don't want to Giant harmed really ... he's not evil and neither are we.

[Anole]: Normally.

[Sharp]: *acting mock-scientific.*

*Takes a stick to illustrate a diagram. The purpose of which is go draw out a picture to show what he is getting at.*

"We could ask him to show us how strong he is, maybe-like it was some sorta test (perhaps if we asked really nicely? Hmm...maybe not.)? A great amount of pressure is generated when Giant A crushes object B ( coal from sack) in his hand (apparatus 'a')."

*Draws some arrows as though it were some sort of a schematic.*

"This generates heat, in the form of friction."

*Makes some wavy-lines*

"Y'see?"

"Well, maybe if we let him keep some of the diamonds too?"

[Anole]: Quick way to get rich. Fine with me. Just let us do what is needed to get it done.
