Jars work better on dogs with big heads. Just put in something smelly (doesn't even have to be appealing smelly, just unusual smelly) and they'll stick their head in the jar. Voila, bite-free dog.

I don't think the pictures would work so well, lots of cats in one big jar just doesn't have the same effect as one kitten in a rather small jar.
