Private Conversation between Lorenzen and Sarah Briggs on Deck

I'd be greatly appreciative if you'd give me a look over, and I also had some questions I wanted to ask you. Mostly about the stowaway. I don't trust her. She looks shifty, and overfriendly. Are you sure that all of your valuables are safe?

Please have a seat, Mr Lorenzen.
*Lorenzen sits and Sarah leans down to examine his ankle*
I agree that Miss Rangel's behaviour is very... unusual. She hasn't done anything specific that I can point to that explains either my or your ill ease - although I have noticed that she is oddly familiar with Mr Richardson. *glances over her shoulder at the two being discussed briefly* I don't know what we can do other than simply keep an eye on her, however.
I do have a question for you as well, Mr Lorenzen. Have you noticed anything odd about Mr Gilling at all?
You seem to have twisted your ankle, Mr Lorenzen. It's no doubt tender, but you shouldn't have too much trouble returning to work. How does it feel when I do this? *twists the ankle carefully to the side*

*Does not wince or grimace*
It is tender, but in my life, I've had worse.
Gillings? He seems a good officer. He's keen, I'll give him that. Nothing much else out of the ordinary. Hmmm.. I wonder why Richardson is so comfortable with the stowaway? Could they have met before somewhere?

I suppose that is a possibility. They do act that way, don't they? Hmmm... What are you feelings on the matter?
I'm glad to hear that the pain is not overwhelming. Perhaps if I wrap it, that might ease the pain somewhat. Do you have a handkerchief that I might use?

I'm going to call a hankercheif a costume peice, rather than something actually on my person, and since our costumes haven't been described by GL, I'll say I do have a hanky
*Hands Sarah his hanky*
She seems to have a lot of knowledge for one her age and sex. And Richardson... It makes me feel as though there's a conspiracy here. Perhaps they mean no harm, but again, I wouldn't put robbery past that woman.

*binds his ankle*
They do seem much closer than two people who have just met should be. Thank you for your concern, Mr Lorenzen. I shall watch my valuables closely, just to be on the safe side.
*straightens up* Now try standing on it, Mr Lorenzen. Is that better?

Yes, much better now, thank you, Ma'am. I should be off. I have my duties, as you well know.
*slips off*
