*the cat bathes her paws, glad to know where she is again*

*Grins stupidly at The Cat*

*tilts her head at Gillings strange behaviour* Can I help you, Mr Gillings?

*Amelia scowls @ Gillings and raises an eyebrow in his general direction*

Amelia: *testily* Did you /want/ something Mr. Gillings...? We were kind of having a girl chat, and seeing as you aren't a girl, as it were, it would probably be quite beneficial for everyone if you would /get out/.

*She flashes him one of her patented "heroine" grins, but with a definite edge or scorn and anger and general nastiness.*

*if the cat had eyebrows, she would undoubtedly have raised one. being that cats don't have eyebrows, she continues to look unperturbed and bathes her paw, keeping a close eye on gillings*

*Amelia grins and scratches the behind her ears*

Amelia: You're such a dear kitty!

*the cat purrs and rolls over for a belly rub*

Mr. Gillings, the Captain has expressed some curiousity as to what you are up to. You dash across the deck between the fo'c'sle and the galley and the cabin, and the Captain would like to know why. I confess to a bit of curiosity here myself.

*glances at Richardson* Thank you, Mr Richardson.

*looks at Amelia, a romantic poem he learned in school coming unbidden to mind. Loosens tie. Looks confused.

Shakes head vigorously - moment passes, feels better*

*Amelia obliges and rubs the 's belly*

Amelia: Such a sweet thing. *happy anime grin* *looks up, sees Sparky loosening his tie, raises an ammused eyebrow* Is something the matter, Sparky dear?

*looks between Amelia and Richardson. a small smile touches her lips. then she turns her attention back to Gillings*

Well, Mr Gillings? You have been asked questions. What do you have to say for yourself?

*thinks "What the Hell was that? It's as if some malevolent author somewhere was playing games, then changed his mind!"*

*scratches the cat on the head and continues to await Gillings' reply, as patiently as she can. also wonders when Benjamin is planning to return. and Uli as well. gets the feeling that time is running short for some reason*
