At one point, you felt yourself slipping away, falling through the air and some part of you knew that when you hit, you would be no longer in this world. But, before you could hit, you were caught gently in the talons of a huge bird, who spoke with Uli's voice and said: "Be strong Captain, I am here to help you. If you wish to come back I can carry you." You nodded and the bird carried you up ...up ...up.

If I bring the dance to a close, will you interject the consequences for the captain as he appears to the onlookers, i.e., seeming to relax, breathe more easily etc.?

Also, Richardson thinks I have something that I no longer have. When I finish dancing, I will do something formal and symbolic to indicate that I have finished, and then I am going to collapse and fall asleep.

That way, I can go off and get some work done IRL , but it will also make me vulnerable to being searched...

So Richardson needs to know that I no longer have the medallion in case he tries to steal it from me and inadvertently violates continuity.

I can handle those two things. Go for it.

Sense Magic: Can I use this to determine ~what~ kind of magic is employed by Gillings, white or black?

Vision Sense -- first call: If I can use the power in this way, can I tell whether Gillings is my true enemy?

If yes in all cases, get ready for a fight.

Magic sense - you sense very strong magical power in Gillings. Magic itself is neither good nor bad, it's all in the application. You don't know yet how he uses his power.

Vision sense - The vision sense tells you whether your actions align with your vision quest. If suspecting Gillings can be considered an action , then yes, it aligns with your quest.

Especially as packed with people as it is.

And I thought I was generous with the info I gave you Your vision quest was to stop Raven and aid Dove, and your "action" of suspecting Gillings aligns with that quest. Plus he is very magically powerful. 2+2=

Yes, you can hear. You can read that thread from post 147 on. That's about 5 leds as of this morning!

As for SPINY, I don't know. He was at the Atelier a few days ago, but never showed up here. I gather that you had something in mind for him?

Only a marshalling of allies -- there might have been something now or later on where we could enlist the help of the "mer-men" as Uli thinks of them. When I sacrificed the caribou heart, Uli was enlisting all the onboard forces she knows about.

I will go check on the hold thread when I get back from work this evening: right now Uli has to check out the astral plane.
