* Lucy smiles apologetically at Kyra. *

Sorry I made you spin too fast. Are you okay?

*Kyra shakes her head*

Don't worry, I'm fine.

*She pours out some juice for herself and Eli and Lucy*

Can you gymnastic-type stuff in there?

* Lucy chuckles. *

Of course - with some practice. Why? Do you want me to teach you?

*Kyra grins*

Sure - maybe not tonight though ...

* Lucy smiles at Kyra. *

Just say the word. Anything in particular you'd like to learn?

*Kyra shrugs*

Just useful stuff, things I'd use for work. Or fighting.

* Lucy looks thoughtful, but nods. *

We'll see what we can do, then.

* Eli smiles at both of them. *

How about something else we can use - dinner?

* As always, Frankie's interest is awoken immediately by the familiar word. *

*Kyra smiles at Frankie's reaction and gets up to help. Her culinary skills tend to stretch as far as pizza and sandwiches, but she's handy with a knife*

* Some time later the three of them are sharing an enjoyable meal, trading stories and banter. Later again, Eli and Lucy wish Kyra and Frankie goodnight, and withdraw to their bedroom. *

*Like Kyra guessed, Tavaron has been avoiding her during the last few days. Paul did that, too. Partly out of loyality to his girlfriend. But now Tavaron is fed up with hiding from people in her own home, so she and Paul have a normal breakfast in the kitchen. Tavaron tells her boyfriend about her latest visit in the city outside, Paul has only been with her once until now.*

*After a long and restless sleep, Kyra emerges from her temporary room with Frankie and heads to the kitchen with the intention of making French toast for Eli and Lucy. She freezes when she sees Tavaron and Paul, and seriously considers backing out again before they notice her. Unfortunately, she's never been one for avoiding conflict. She walks in as if nothing was wrong*

Morning.

*Paul looks at Kyra*

Morning, Kyra.

*Tavaron only glances at her shortly*

Hi.

*Kyra mentally shrugs. If they're gonna act like nothing's wrong, she can play along quite happily*

*She goes about finding the ingredients for the French toast - eggs, milk, vanilla, bread ... the recipe is old Earth, but she finds reasonable facsimiles of all the ingredients*

How're you?

*She directs the remark over her shoulder at both Tavaron and Paul*

*Tavaron takes a sip of coffee before she answers*

Oh, very well, thank you. As far as I know nobody's been lying to me during the last days. And what about you? Enjoyed your little trip?

*Kyra looks around coolly*

Not so much. There's too much history around here.

*Tavaron shrugs*

History is everywhere. Been there myself a couple of times. In history, I mean. Was it at least woth it, for you?

*Kyra answers shortly*

It will be.

*Tavaron nods*

Well, I hope so.

*Paul doesn't really know what to say, but makes a try*

*Having gotten used to the idea that there is going to be no argument, Kyra sits down next to Paul*

*She brings out the well-used photographs of her parents*

And as soon as Eli lets me out of here I want to go see my uncle ... actually, he said something about you being able to open windows in different places ...

*Her face betrays her skepticism*

*Tavaron and Paul look at the photos, Tavaron answers*

Good for you. Well, yes. When you know where your uncle lives we can do there and watch him. Something like that.
