Kia Ora/G'day Two: a Sports Free Zone
tanzen Posted Aug 3, 2005
When I was in High School, I went into the city once a week to do a course outside of school. It was Koorie History at the Council for Education, so everyone there was older then me.
There was a girl there named Dale. She was the first girl I ever had a crush on . She was a supercool hippie and really nice as well. I actually ran into her once about 2 or 3 years later. She gave me her number but I never called (I was so scared…she was just so *cool*).
Since then I’ve only met one or two hippies that were really cool. Cool in the sense that they were really open to other people, you know? *sigh* oh well, maybe one day I’ll run into Dale again…
Oh, and excellent thread too, give me a second while I think of something

Flicking back a few posts - yes, there is a big bus interchange thingy in Woden. A masterpiece of concrete, flaking paint and chewing-gum. It's almost as shabby as the one in Belconnen, but worse than the one in Tuggeranong.

For some reason everytime you mention Woden I think of The Office. Is Woden a place in the UK too?

I'm afraid I've no idea. It's possible, of course.

I just heard on the radio that John Cleese is visiting NZ for the first time since the 60s. He wants to see if it's still closed.
Ha, ha, ha
Anyway, Kim Hill is interviewing him on Saturday morning, National Radio.
