I saw something last week about the bit of gain for the Nats since Brash has come from Act and NZ First and the Christians. Cannabilising their own side was how it was put

Jimmy remarked last night that Brash has even less personality than Bill English, which is saying something...

I'm sure we have a word for it, and it's sitting at the back in the dim dusty recesses of my brain....

six7s Posted Apr 16, 2004
Over the last day or two, I've noticed that some of this threads regulars have become embroiled in a bit of on-site strife and I think that here might be as good a place as any to express my concern *and* support for anyone who might need it
hootoo is the only on-line community worth being involved in that I have come across in all the time I've been hooked up to the net and this little corner of it is, I think, unique - it might have been dormant for a while, but what the hey, some of the most impressive things in our corner of the world lie dormant for eons
Anyhoo, I feel that _here_ is the most appropriate place to offer my moral support to any of the regualrs who might like it

I love hootoo, and feel it's the only community I want to be involved in, so I am very sad about all this. I am happy about the warm and wonderful people here, and for the most part, they are.
How is everybody here, how are you, six7s?

I got up to this great news on the radio this morning:
http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/0,2106,2878686a1861,00.html
There's also a nice bit of Brash stabbing himself in the foot by saying NZers don't know shit about the economy:

What about that Brash eh? What an idiot! Yes, that is good news, kea, about time the business community realised that no one believes wse are about to hit 'Third World status' by not being monetarists...

I never understood that thing about thinking we would become a third world country. Maybe Brash is right and I _don't _really_understand_the _economy
I hope he keeps up the patronising bit (althought I bet the journalist took it out of context).
