Back to thread- I'm determined to get hyphephilia noticed! And any other unusual fetishes which affect you in everyday life.

The reason that that posting was removed was due to the current court case that involves Lord Archer. As the case has not as yet concluded it is probably best not to comment on these issues.

Yeah, I know you've got your reasons; although any discussion related to sex that involves that particular gentleman would be better removed on grounds of taste.

When I said beautiful I meant in an aestethic way, and not personality or such. And not to a special someone, but to people in general.

That knowing you´re beautiful seems a bit like this quote: "If you don´t believe in yourself no one else will." Okay, I just feel that if nobody believe in me then what reason would I have to believe in myself?

For some people there *is* someone more attractive than a person who fancies you. It is someone you can never speak to, who represents something you can never attain.

Even in an aesthetic way, beauty is personal. (For instance, I think Leonardo di Caprio- widely regarded to be the current epitome of male gorgeousness- is a right Frog Prince.) No one is beautiful to 'people in general'; each individual idea is too different. And besides, if everyone thinks you're lovely, you're not being beautiful in your own way- you're being beautiful in theirs.
'If no one believes in you', you say (to put it bluntly) "F**k them". Because IT REALLY DOES NOT MATTER what peoples' opinions of you are, and their perception cannot alter you personally. If you are dependent on outside appreciation for your self-esteem, you're fake. Also, if you don't believe in yourself simply because other people don't- or don't seem to- what's there left to believe in?
It seems you don't fully understand what it's like to have 'everyone' consider you worthless because of the way you look, dress, speak, act etc. At times like that you have to keep personal faith because you're the only one not making stupid comments. (If this seems a bit rant-like; I had this problem all through school because of stupid narrow-minded people. It really got to me, and I don't want to hear it now that I know better.) And if you manage to do that, it does improve. Vastly.

Agreed. I could rant for hours about low-or-no-self-esteem, and point out that even now that I have got a confidence (I used to have a hole where it should have been, and it moved in and made itself comfortable about ten years ago) I still suffer those "I know they all hate me really" moments. These generally come irregularly and at the same time as hormonal imbalance.

I could point it out, but then this thread would stop being a "What makes you feel sexy" thread, and start being yet another thing that would make my confidence consider relocation again. There are plenty of those, and I have to be strict. Once you've got a confidence / ego / awareness of self, don't ever let it go!
