I just returned 90 minutes ago, paulh. By plane. (Walking from way above the polar circle was out of the question, Interestman). Didn't see aurora borealis this time, but saw it in Estonia a few years back. Spectacular, to say the least
Pink elephants? I may check tomnorrow after finishing this

Pink elephants and yellow giraffes.
Is there anywhere here where cops is friends with robbers: Mmm I digress into a tale of Woh, or is it Who.
Anyway in the distant days when fuel was plentiful, food was cheap and everybody was smiling under the sun; there was who ran a bus
company with vehicles uninsured, without the annual mandatory safety checks, driven by people who were ex cons who hadn't passed a driving test for buses, to drive little infants on day trips from school until one of them crashed.
So is the cops friends with him
I was just thinking this today cos he was never prosecuted, and is involved in another scammy company.
So I thought wot would happen to me if I borrowed a car and without a license called it a taxi, and that car was uninsured and without safety checks, and went to pick up people from the local school.
Mmm, I think just thinking about the consequences has consequences,
If that story were true; that would demonstrate beyond doubt that cops are friends with robbers.
If it were provable, it would prove it.
I'm laughing cos it is based on a real person, and he is much worse than that and twice as stupid, and friends with a lot of stupid business people that think he is a harmless
But he ain't harmless or a

I was riding with my father the other day, and we waited for a bus driver to let students off. Some guy was waiting at the bus stop to pick them up. I mentioned to my father that you don't see that every day. My father said, "they'd get more exercise if they walked."

Aint that the truth! If I forgot my bus ticket I had to walk home from my first school. Took me about 30 minutes at least. Later I changed to another school closer to home, but still a walk of at least 15 minutes. The third was farther away - and there were no busses. Or maybe my parents didn't want to pay for it? I forget. And back then I didn't even care. Wouldn't have changed things anyway

The school where I went for grades 1-8 was no more than half a mile from my house. Nevertheless, I was required to ride the bus to school. When I missed the bus, I simply ran to school.

When I was that age, I was just doing what came naturally.
Bus routes can be strange. When I was in high school, the school was a mile west of me, but I had to walk an eighth of a mile east to get to the bus stop where it picked me up.

In my experience nothing upsets people more than the changing of bus routes and street names. The editor always receives a lot of letters

Been there, done that.
Of course, you live in an area that gets very cold winter weather. It's no fun to wait at a bus stop in sub-zero weather, waiting for a bus which has had a schedule change.

I used to ride my bike to school, only 9 miles. Once my friend gave me a lift in his dads Rolls Royce Silver Shadow; but he was only 15 and got 6 of the best from the headteacher.

You don't need a bike when you got a friend like this 14 ft high one,
