*The speaking tube emits sounds strangely reminiscent of a vacuum cleaner on reverse thrust. Shortly thereafter a pelican's egg emerges from the tube at high velocity.*

*Eating her Bcaon Ltetuce and Tmoato snadwich and ducking flying shrpanle from the Cbuans...*
That drill idea reminds me of that old movie Journey to the Center of the Earth with Pat Boone, James Mason, Diane Baker and Arlene Dahl. Now that would be a trip!

OOOoooooooooo! If we drill our way through the center of the Earth, maybe we will find lost dinosaurs and a whole forgotten city loaded with forgotten treasures and hunky cave men and a giant gorilla...
The Pelican's Nest.
shagbark Posted Oct 11, 2002
If you really want to go there, why not suggest it to the bridge.
At least it would get us away from those cuban cigars

Ok! How about you, though... wouldn't you like to drill right through the center of the Earth and find a quick route to Australia? I hear its a funny place. Lots of marsupials. Parrots in the trees. Crocs and giant spiders too.
