King Arthur and a Knight drinking Coca-Cola step out of the dumb waiter, thoroughly dumb-founded about how they got there.

The King and his Knight are surprised to see a long hall about three meters wide dwindling into the distance. How can such a long hall be inside a sailing ship the King asks.

*polishes chrome cylinder head covers with fresh cotton thingies
and looks around the gleaming generator room.*
*checks LiFe cell voltages and current current consumption.
... grasps the Moderately Big Switch Thingy operator interface
and switches it from 'MOSTLY NORMAL' to 'ESSENTIALS MOSTLY'*
*As the ships inverters take over the task of supplying power to
all of the circuits on board this mighty vessel that must, under no circumstances, lose power at any time...the captains vibrating bed
for example...Alec hits the Big Red Buttons that shut down the Generators which have been running for the last ten years.*
*As the generators come to a stop, the engine room lights flicker and extinguish, leaving only the emergency lighting to illuminate the generator room.*
*Alec takes a step back from the Switchboard, ticking items on a checklist. Pausing briefly for an ohnosecond, he peers at an unchecked item on the list in the dim light..."SECURE DIAMOND PLATE HATCHES"...and plunges straight through one such unsecured hatch plate.*
*The sounds of a human in rapid unanticipated descent are replaced with a loud sploosh ! then the unmistakeable sound of a human who is
very surprised to find himself swimming in emergency backlog overflow storage tank # 17E*
...Hmmmm...there must be a way out of here...

* alec glares at his barking nemesis and swims to one side of the vast backlog tank. Grasping the welded rungs of the ladder, he climbs slowly upwards towards the escape hatch.*

*slowly, the diamond plate hatch covering the escape route from backlog tank # 17E slides to one side.*
**** Right Off Shagbreath. HOW DARE YOU ? The First Post in MY Generator Room after the transition from the BBC and I find that you have already pissed all over my nice diamond-plate floor.
(Just in case you're wondering, The POLITE THING TO DO would have been to wait for me to post here first BEFORE vectoring your banalities)
Get the fog outta here !
*alec frogmarches the one who appears to be a few saplings short of a copse to the Generator Room doorway and throws him out into the corridor*
