now, that's funny, cos Dire Straits used to be the house band for just about every Agitprop organisation in Lunnun when i lived there back in the er 70's was it?? They would play for free for just about anybody except PIE...
'course, that was before Mr Knopfler and the lads became mega-stars...

Just about the only male preserve left over from the cave days is the ritual of making THE FIRE.
A gas-barbie, whilst sanitising the food preparation process, unfortunately does not feed the need that we men have, which is to interfere with the fuel/oxygen/heat triangle, and add a fourth side, comprising of blowing hard, dowsing it in highly inflammable chemicals, using a small flame-thrower, muttering incantations and...
...oh yes, drinking lots of beer.

personally i always doubted that
but then it took us a good while to figure it out, so...
BTW: my first rock concert was with - you'll never guess this - dave dee, dozy, beaky, mick andf titch 
but my latest was with neil young and my next will be with the stones - for old times sakes
