*knock, knock*
Hi Miss Moneypenny, I'm Caerwynn, Ship's Seamtress. I thought I would just come by and say hello as I haven't seen you around the ship.
Lovely Begonias, do I detect Ugi's handy work in the macrame pot holder?

Hello there, Caerwynn! Do come in. My, I seem to be having a lot of visitors today. Hasn't Ugi worked wonders with his knots? Don't they just set off my Begonias something marvelous?
May I offer you some ?

Oh, no, thank you Caerwynn. I'm far too busy at the moment.
But James tells me there's going to be a party
He tells me that he might take me to that...
Its a long time since I've been to a party, you know.

Researcher 179388 Posted Aug 15, 2001
I do hope you will be able to go to the party. I would be happy to make a gown for you.
If you are unable to escape your duties, I am sure Mr Pod could find some way for us to communicate, so that we can discuss designs
I will drop by for tomorrow if you aren't too busy, anyway.
In the meantime, perhaps there is room in the pot holder to slip this, in case you feel the need!
*out of a secret pocket in her bikini, Caerwynn produces a bottle of Pol Roger *
I am sure Mr Pod is a very caring employer, but we girls must stick together!

Oh Caerwynn!
You are too kind! And its Pol Roger!!!
My favourite! Myself and Winston Churchill used to knock this stuff back like troopers in the old days!
And as for my outfit, well I must say I have always fancied being Gina Lolabrigida or Sophia Loren for a day... 8)
Thank you!

Glad you like the
Visited Winnie's old home the other week, gorgeous house, would move in today given the opportunity, the tourists would have to go though!
Gina and Sophia liked gowns with well fitting boned bodices and full ballerina length skirts. That gives me a few ideas to sleep on.
I hope you manage to get a good night's
See you tomorrow, work permitting!

*knocks on the door, sees that Moneypenny is as busy as always*
I will just drop these designs off for you to look at Miss M, I do think the fitted bodice, strapless, ballerina length gown a la Gina and Sophia would look lovely on you
To keep out the chill I thought a chiffon wrap would be an elegant touch.
Have a look at your leisure and if you are too tied up to get along to the Sewing Room perhaps Mr Pod would pass on a message.

*knocks and enters, notes the upturned Pol Roger bottle in the begonias*
Miss Moneypenny, How are you today? Busy I can see!
I just thought I would show you a swatch of the fabric I was thinking of, this beautiful duchesse satin in lavender. Such a wonderful soft, warm colour and so flattering.
Mr Pod said you liked my idea for a design, so let me know about the fabric when you have two minutes to spare!
*discreetly removes empty and exits, closing the door quietly*

Miss Moneypenny? Light has found this half empty bottle of nail varnish. It is exactly the colour of that swatch.
Don't worry about the brush not reaching the bottom of the bottle, I've had a little word with it!
She has also given me this for you. It should help to bring back the colour back to your cheeks.
We are thinking of a cunning plan should your hopes of coming to the party be thwarted
*places nail varnish and down on the desk and exits even more quietly*

Mwhaa.. whathappened...??
*Smells , notes cabin looks much tidier than it should.*
Ohh, whats this?
*Picks up fabric and nail varnish.
An almost empty nail varnish bottle? That nice Ms. Caerwynn must have dropped by!
And this colour! My, isn't it just so lovely?
*Leans back in chair, drinks and paints nails a purple sort of colour.

Don't worry Cap'n. Not many people know this, but I'm a Wu-Dan Knife Thrower, level 10. A Labrador would pose little threat.

Hello Miss Moneypenny, here is your gown..
*on a padded, scented hanger, is a duchesse satin lavender, off the shoulder, ballerina length ballgown. The bodice is fitted, the skirt very full with tulle overskirt and a darker lavender waistband. The lightest chiffon wrap in the palest lilac is draped over the hanger*
Now, if Mr Pod is kind enough to give you a corsage, Miss Moneypenny, I think it would look lovely pinned to the waist.
I do hope you like the gown

Oooohh, if you ask me I'd have to say it is *very* pretty. Plus you can still conceal your throwing knife in a holster strapped to your thigh
