Don't be fooled by the rumors. There may only be rumors that there are rumors.

the rumours speak the truth, paul

indeed. this is my experience also
they can't be taken at face value but if you check them thoroughly you will find that there is fifty percent chance that they speak the truth

re 7688:
rumours are either true or false. to me that counts as a 50/50-situation
hence follows that you have a 50 percent chance to win the lottery: you either win - or you don't
am i right?

Are you right?
Perhaps.

I don't want to commit one way or the other.

I love secret underwater passages, unless they lead to Jar Jar Binks . And I'd love to see Loch Ness.

if i understand kes' notes, logbooks and thingamajigs correctly we should start diving in a day or two and after that it should only take us another day or two before we can surface in the loch

The Autopilot flashes Red
and suddenly engages.
The Island guickly is put at a greater distance and the ship sinks to a depth of thirty meters.

Evening all! I've been restyling my new suite
I see we are on another exciting mission, so until we get there I'll go back to the painting and decorating.
Don't let me miss anything exciting!

I don't know how many metres down you may happen to be Mr. Shagsworth, but our beloved Captain Porsche seems to think we're still on the surface...for another couple of days.
*Peers through spinning hurricane windscreen whizzer thingy at the horizon, clouds, passing seagulls etc.*
...and I concur.
