Welcome to the Campfire, Cafram, and don't bother about your spelling as long as you're sitting here! This is a campfire, not a literature lesson!

Jeremy, player of the conch shell and stoker of the campfire

*finally putting Pierce the smiley - pirate's nutwood leg into the fire*

Wayfarer-- I only wish I were crackly

*wakes with a start to discover that foot is uncomfortably near the flames and yanks it back. goes back to staring into the fire.*

*looks around for Pierce who seems very occupied doing a ritual dance invoving one of his legs, a bucket of water and lots of steam*

Hi, Pierce - I knew it was hot today but I've so far managed to keep my legs out of the water smiley - winkeye

*realises that teasing maybe, just maybe isn't smart when you're going to ask for something next... smiley - erm*

Any chance you have more of that "smiley - coffee" of yours around - I've just failed to brew some over at the Muse's Campfire watch post for the Urania Fireworks...

Sure, Santragenius. I just ran out of water so I had to use Grappa instead of water for the smiley - coffee. Have you ever tried the 'Atomic Espresso'?

No, I must admit - but I'll try anything once smiley - smiley

Once, in Poland in "the old days", we had something, we named "Neutron Coffee". Basically, since we felt a risk that it might kill anything alive but leave the cup untouched (as in the neutron bomb which was a major discussion item then).

As a matter of fact, I am going (RL) to Warsaw tomorrow - though not to check on the smiley - coffee improvements smiley - winkeye

::GASP!!!::

POOR PIERCE!!!!

OH MY GREAT ZEUS ALIVE!!!

smiley - cry

Poor thing... you must give me the name of the best carpenter you know... we'll get some wood from a tree growing up on Mount Helicon(the mountain of the muses, of course!!!) and make you a new leg-- one that can't or get water-damaged(maybe it will even allow you to dance the mamba!!! smiley - winkeye)!!! smiley - hug

Jeremy, you apologise to Pierce for what you have done!!! I've half a mind to throw your guitar in the fire, if I didn't like music and you so much!!! smiley - grr

Go ahead, AAD, go ahead!

It's an old guitar, and I think that the BBQ meat will need a little heat flash anyhow!

Sorry, Pierce, I just couldn't resist! I would never have dared to do any harm to your leg if I hadn't already had a new one for you: Made of olive wood, which is the best leg wood without the shadow of a doubt. (Just by the way: Some wood was left over, so I made a little barrel of that wood and filled it with the olives from that tree.)

It's not so much the wooden leg, it's more what was in it. Pandora will never forgive me!!! smiley - erm

Ah, well, I'll just have my ships carpenter to alter the one Dragonfly offered me. Thanks dearest smiley - kiss

And I'll keep Jeremys olive one as a reserve - you never know what you step into next, right?

Anyone for "smiley - coffee"?
