*putting some wood into the fire*

This is much better than work ... On the other hand, anything is better than work!

Welcome everybody! smiley - hug

Today's dish of the day is a hotpot made of various fresh vegetables and bacon.

The pot is hanging over the fire, so if you want some, feel free to help yourself.

*Sits down on his old but reliable towel, eating some hotpot, drinking a smiley - ale and watching the time go by.*

I'm so glad to have that place. Far away from all that big city racket, just me, "my old guitar and an empty bottle of booze".

Oh, sorry, that was a line from the Johnny Cash classic 'A Boy named Sue'. Is there anybody who does *NOT* have religious reservations against Country Music? (in homeopathic doses, naturallysmiley - devil)

mmm - can I taste some? I brought along some wine and glasses - anybody wants some?

can we have baked potatoes some other time??

even Country music depends on who does it and how. You can make almost every piece of music sound interesting or absolutely unbearably sweet / cheap.

I take it you & your unplugged-as-can-be guitar know how to handle it.

*after finishing his hotpot, Jeremy takes out his guitar and starts to sing "Green Green Grass of Home"*

"The old hometown looks the same as I step down from the train ..."

I know this is sentimental ... but who cares smiley - biggrin

* on second thought: it's not even only true for music but for almost anything: you can make it interesting or a bore, depending on how you approach it. *

what a peaceful place this is - thank you, St. Jeremy

Thank you, Sunny, I appreciate that!

You are so right: If, as an example, you watch people doing their Tai Chi exercises, you might say "That's so boring, where's the action, where are the breaking bones?" or you might say "That's a great way to get your mind going at the beginning of a day."

Some people think that sitting at a campfire all night long is a waste of time if you could go to three different parties at the same time.

I don't.
