Keep the campfire burning ...

Hi Hatifnat!
I'm glad that you're awake again!
I have caught a nice salmon from the creek. It may take some time before it's ready to eat, but I think it will be a great meal...
*takes the , guts it, cleans it, crusts it with olive oil and salt and puts it on the grid.*
May I have one of your roasted frankfurters in the meantime?

Sure, there are lots of them here. The frankfurter is the easiest thing to roast - I started practicing it in the age of 1 year, I think. Since then it's the best meal I can prepare .

Mind if I put on the kebabs I've been marinading, I even soaked the sticks to stop them burning!

We're talking about a *real* campfire, not just a little camping grill ...
As long as your cheesecake is not as big as a Subaru Justy, everything

Jeremy (trying to find his way back to dinner) Posted Jun 11, 2001
Ahem, sorry, Sunny, I beg your pardon, I tried to read between the lines, but as there was only one line I didn't quite understand what you meant ... (foreign speaker, you know )

sunny Posted Jun 11, 2001
your posting 45
(there was supposed to be another book by Douglas Adams to be published, called the Salmon of Doubt)

E G Mel Posted Jun 11, 2001
I don't know whether it's a good thing that they raid his computer to get a last book, he probably wouldn't be happy at the thought of publishing something he didn't feel he'd finished. I know I wouldn't be.

Thanks, Sunny, now I see ...
I do not like the idea of publishing a book without the author's written consent which is impossible to get now ). This shows a disgustable lack of respect.
No matter how much I'd like to read DNA's last words written, if they just want to make profit, I won't buy it. If they publish it for charity (and solely for charity) I may be inclined to think it over again.
