He does, doesn't he? As well as famished and dedrated
Have an and a couple of grilled frankfurters, Jeremy!
I'll play you a little Händel on my portable harpsichord while you eat.
How about you, Miss D? Want some?

Ouch - you know it's a hard weekend when you start repeating yourself
On my way to a working weekend in Sweden followed by a 1-2 weeks holiday thing with the family (weather deciding the actual length of it) I couldn't resist dropping in to say "Hello"
Hello!
I mean -- I try to do something to fight the dread of being offline for 2 weeks...
So if you would, please drop a pile of timber or two on the embers to keep the fire going... Ta!

Hola fellow Muses!
As much wandering as I do around here, I always end up back at the campfire!!
And such a lovely night...
*sits and enjoys the company *

YAY!!! Good to see you!!! And I'm delighted you enjoy the company!!!
At the moment I am reading Amy Tan's "One Hundred Secret Senses" and I have been speaking like a Chinese person. Needless to say, my company's not been much enjoyed... hahahaa...
"Cute accent, but it's getting old..."

Great! Now there should be firewood enough for several weeks, so we don't have to worry about that any more. Now let's have some food, drinks and music!
How's about grilled veal with a green salad, gallons of wine, sixpacks of and the collected works of The Beatles?

*George sings and plays "While my Guitar Gently Weeps"*
Even better!
I hear very sad news about his health, though. There is no way to break this gently, I'm afraid: According to George Martin it is now a fact that George Harrison is rapidly dying of cancer.
Only consolation is that George has come to terms with his fate. I wish him all the best, wherever and whenever he goes!

I heared that, too ...
What comforts me is thinking of that very special band somewhere above the rainbow, where Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Big Mama Cass, John Lennon, John Bonham, Bon Scott, Freddie Mercury, Eddie Cochran, Elmore James, John Lee Hooker, Sam Cooke, Jaco Pastorius, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Gene Vincent, Duane Allman, Jim Croce, Stevie Ray Vaughan, T-Bone Walker, ..., ..., ..., and many others are jamming the dust off the clouds.
Can there be a "hell of a jam" in heaven?
I raise my glass to you, George!
