The Green Room - relax and unwind

Well it certainly is a lot quieter in here than it used to be - Im sure this thread appeared on the busiest converations list a few times in the past...
...sad to say, but I suspect real life (REAL LIFE) is temporarily curing many former addicts... necessity isthe mother of invention after all.
Pretty soon now (as in like tomorrow really ), I too will have to start cutting back on h2g2 time in order that I can graduate with a decent degree at the end of this year... really I might have to limit myself to say 1 hours posting a day, and always right at the end of the day....
anyway, enough doom and gloom, and time for a song..
"there may be trouble ahead.
there may be music, and moonlight, and love and romance,
lets face the music and dance"

Candi - now 42! Posted Mar 4, 2002
Hello everybody peeps!
Real life gets in the way of h2g2 too often......but h2g2's always there when real life lets you down........
Just spent most of the night trying (unsuccessfully) to sleep. Couldn't go down and get a cup of or anything because boyfriend's down there sleeping on the settee, having had problems sleeping himself.....
At least I can come in here and take my mind off it for a while, and early morning is a good time to find places I haven't got round to visiting/ not noticed before........so here I am!
..........and seeing as I can't get a real cup of , I can make do with a virtual one here!
::brews ::
I love this place!

Fear ye not 2legs, as of now you have Permission to Panic.
I recommend running around like a headless chicken for a preferably brief period time, and singing monty python songs to preserve sanity.

So, pretty-much like what we did in London? I'm so worried about the luggage collection system at Heathrow... From my hips to the ground every sperm is sacred, every sperm is great, when a sperm gets wasted... is life just a game, where we make up the rules, whilst we're thinking of something to say? ... *dances the "funcky chicken" round the room, with the clinging on for her sanity...

We are, we are electric, existing on the ether, neir one nor the other, like quantum molecules flipping between existances, non of which real, any more real, any less real, than that which is percieved to be real. My diodes are killing me I still haven't got much further with RL Thesis that is No Nighthoover out in the pubs and clubs last night Maybe, just maybe, if we could find Nighthoover, then they would provide devine inspiration and help for my thesis? Hope springs eternal... My first job application got turned down : Village idiot for Kensington: said I was overqualified : Still haven't heard back from the other job application; Court jester to HRH Rupert Its damm windy here today... and wet... and the Swamp Creatures don't like it one bit... and neither, judging from the fluff on the staircase, does the potted plant I think I've flipped again

so, you couldn't sleep last night either? I've not slept more than an hour or two the last couple of nights not sure why.... oh, did you say ? just like this *pulls from behind Candi's ear "one for the road" I'm getting really hooked on these "tweeny's" things its not quite the level of perfection as achieved by that which precedes it, the telly tubbies, but, hay, not every kids programme can be a clasic in its own lifetime Don't like what they did to the flower pot men though *wistfully remembers back to when the Television set would be graced ever lunchtime by Sesamy Street, the ideal waking up-to Television viewing I think I've been a stewedant too long *giggles*
