Hi, I'm Fred Smith and I admit that I'm addicted to h2g2. At least I'm not addicted to Real Life.

Hi I'm Bassman
I AM ADICTED TO H2G2
That wasn't so bad....
I discovered that I was addicted when driving through the contraflow past Stansted Airport a few weeks back. It's a 40 MPH speed limit, but I found that I was sticking rigidly to 42MPH. My car has a digital speedo, with big blue/green numbers - there was no mistake

Woah! That was too much cold turkey for one h2g2 addict to endure. RL is not as good as the hype says. Sorry I've not been around to greet all the addicts recently recognising their addiction. And what a fine addiction it is too, I can think of nothing better to be hooked on And all these new smileys too. What a great welcome back present for me. I think we need a to celebrate.

I heard a joke that went....
Don't invite a recovering drug addict round on boxing day for lunch, as the offer of cold turkey might offend

I used to joke like that with a friend who was a recovering alcoholic. She was never keen on Boxing Day food and I used to point out she'd already had too much cold turkey.

Sometimes. That was a joke that was accepted, anything by Spike Miligan was fine, anything else and you'd just get a withering look

I don't know much Spike Miligna (the well known spelling mistake) I'm more of a Python man myself.

"The wiggle woggle said
While standing on her head
I can see the coast of china
And it's very, very red" - or something
I'm more of a python person myself although Milligans beastly tales were good.

Ever heard Roald Dahl's revolting rhymes - they're very good. All the best known fairy tales with a twist

Didn't Roald Dahl write the one about Red Riding Hood whipping the pistol from her knickers and shooting the big bad wolf? They were very funny.
