Well today's the day!
Happy 2nd Birthday h2g2, many thanks to everyone who's made it such a wonderful place!
To celebrate two years' hard work, can you tell me, what are your favourite all time entries?
Can I choose two? Mine are:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A414451
Durex Condoms - because it's amusing *and* informative
and
http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A246872
Alaskan fish plants - for being informative *and* bizarre.
Over to you!

It's not often you learn something new about something you've been interested in since you were 8 years old
Thanks to Joe aka Arnia

My favorite is, without a shadow of a doubt, http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A303346 - The Hangar Lane Gyratory System. This entry perfectly conveys the sense of ordinary mortals feel when confronted with this, the Crowned Dark Prince of road traffic junctions.
Many Happy Returns h2g2!

I have a soft spot for the entry on Austrailia. http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A53650
It was one of the first entries I came across when I was wandering round the H2G2 - includes a fascinating vignette about Wombats and other saftey tips such as: "If you are leaving urban areas, take a least 2 litres of water with you at all times, or you will die." Refeshingly direct, informative and funny - this gets my vote

My favourite entry is Physics and the Knowledge of Ignorance. Anyone taking A level physics will know what I mean, and that is only the START. http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A260506
Happy birthday to h2g2!

Because of the sheer quantity of technical information on how to use them.

Because it so very nearly fooled all the italics and ended up in the approved Guide.

Glad you liked that one ladies. I've a feeling it might have even been an approved entry for a couple of days, until the author owned up. It was done as a dare I believe.
