Who am I?
I started lurking on h2g2 back when I was a lazy psychology student looking for something to help me procrastinate. I pop back occasionally when there's something I want to know about without doing tonnes of research myself. Recent subjects of this idle curiosity have been:- Zen Buddhism ... best entry is Satori
- Haiku (my efforts in the journal below)
- The Legend of the Forty-Seven Ronin ... explained neatly in an entry on Bushido
- Hemel Hempstead (a town in England)
- Louvain-la-Neuve (a town in Belgium)
- Labrador Retrievers (the most adorable wibble doggies in the world)
My main interest these days is jiu jitsu. Started an entry on it, but still at the embryonic stage... in the meantime, if you're interested in jitsu the best site I know of is planetjitsu.com.
I'm slowly doing up my house at the mo, so any time here recently is spent seeking out pearls of DIY wisdom.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
