The only problem is that my angelic powers are limited to H2G2 (and even then, they are more special effects than actual spiritual powers). Don't tell anybody, though.

Oh well...
That being so, do you think you could rustle up some gfx advice for me? I'm having trouble with the sketchmap which adorns my entry at http://h2g2.com/A341155 - I'd like to replace the scrappy handwritten labels with typed text and extend a few lines, but Paint Shop Pro (v6.01) insists on making such alterations in a new layer and won't save them in the image. Also, I don't know how to make labels which slant along the lines of the roads - any ideas?

I've never used Paint Shop Pro, so I can't be of that much use. Is there no way for you to combine the layers? Without seeing the program, I can't really be certain. Perhaps I can find somebody in heaven who knows more.

Ah, it's ok - I've come up with the solution. I just re-drew the map and made the labels neater!
