Thing is established with a DM thread. I think that all HooToo researchers can now pit their collective minds together to resolve the Dilemma of Bank-Holidays past and present, high days and holydays.
Christmas is the biggest one I would like to nominate a name-change for.
My suggestion is splurge-day.

how about "the-day-where-you-get-lots-of-presents-and-now-(new-and-improved)-you-can-get-all-the-
s-you-want-whether-or-not-you're-a-Christian-because-the-day-is-no-longer-named-after-that-guy-that-all-Christians-talk-about..."

We don't have bank holidays here in the States ... I don't quite understand what the banks need a holiday from ...
