As we return to the battlefield, we see that Anvil's dustbinlid has been knocked from his hand (no doubt this occurred while his attention was turned to the chloroforming of Dr Anthea), and Lady Scott is standing on the dustbinlid, with her barbed of death poised above Anvil, ready to strike should he make any sudden moves.
