I'm sorry if this has been suggested before, but anyway, I was thinking last night, and I came to the conclusion that we should renumber the years from the inception of the Thingite Cause.

So, this would be 2AT (Anno Thing)
And 2000 would be 1BT (Before Thing)

what do you think? This would stop all those people who complain that AD isn't their religion...

And begin the complaining that Thingism isn't their, er, thing.

And maybe BT would be mistaken for British Telecom
