A Conversation for The Manifesto for the Campaign to rename Thursday, "Thing"

I've just read the article on changing the name of thursday. It seems like a great idea, if for no other reason other than in order of fairness for all.
I have a friend who some time back decided that he was tired of the Serbian army helping his country men to re-plough their fields with the help of bombs, and so he moved to Australia.
Here-in lies the problem and hence my reason for wanting the change. For anyone who has ever made any attempt to become bi-lingual you know as well as I that one of the hardest phrases to master (besides perhaps "excuse me I appear to have a chicken in my top pocket and he and I were wondering how to get to the pub so that we can insult the mayor's wife") is the days of the week in their correct order.
Like many students of the english language would know Thursday and Tuesday sound very similar and therefore cause considerable stress particularly if you are from a country where a "thhh" sound is almost unheard of. As a result this Croation mate of mine still knows the days of the week as Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Tuesday, Friday, etc.
In fact he actually distingushes between the Tuesday that follows Monday and the "Tuesday" that proceeds Friday as the first and second Tuesday. This has caused both my friend and anyone who has been trying to communicate with him for the first time considerable hardship and stress.
So I figured that in the "name" of fairness we conspire to change the names of the days so that everyone (not just imagrants who have been through hell already) would feel confused and disorianted for a change.

Well, J, you've come to the right gang, I guess...
I'm not a native English speaker either, and we don't use the "Th" sound here, either, so I know how your friend must feel.
Anyway- go talk to us on the No, no, no thtread- that's where most of the action is.
Welcome aboard. Cheers!

There is a forum over on Shea's page - sorry if I kept you waiting...how does 12.00 noon on FRIDAY 6TH at/outside leicester Sq Tube station, maybe a meander to a museum or perhaps St Pauls then just a friendly chat in a cafe and possibly dinner sound?
