A Conversation for The Manifesto for the Campaign to rename Thursday, "Thing"
Weekend?

Strange how the weekend is still referred to as 'the weekend' -any thoughts?
Don't like' wibble though'. How about words (invented or re-used) whose onomatopoeic qualities reflect the day in question ie. Urgh - Monday
Weekend?

We all kind of like Wibble to be honest, but out of curiosity what would you suggest?
As for the Onomatopoatic qualities of the day-names, we've already got Sodit, for Monday. And Doobry & Dontbry for the weekend (what is so odd about calling it the weekend, it is *still the weekend* ?) - which we use for doing very little and then doing even less in, repectivly.
Hi, I am Clive, Warlord for the campaign to rename Thursday, "Thing". Would you like to join in? We are always pleased to welcome new recruits to the cause

If wibble suits the majority, then who am I to force the point (Suprised smiley, or similar, should have gone here but its been ages since I used GuideML )I must admit I couldn't think of anything better (Wedgeday, Widgeday being the best). I've got to get back into this whole 'guide' thing so I'll postpone joining for now, but I'll drop in from time-to-time to check.
Having a nice doobry, or is it dontbry? one of the two 'brys' that makeup that aforementioned two-day relaxation period; have a nice one too.

e-p.s. sorry to go off at a thread-tangent.
