Not necessarily. Sometimes. I do know a lot of liberal rednecks. And I know a lot of fundamentalist Christians who aren't rednecks.

When my comes back in through the catflap with wet paws.,I have been known to pick her up and rub her paws on the doormat. She gives me a sort of look. But that soom turns to 
when I stroke her.
