Yay Debs! See, the occasional bout of naughtiness needn't be anathema to your diet
And well done Shez Good progress
I was 12'8 on saturday, so that is 2lb down on last saturday, still in my stuck zone though. Would be good to get to 12' 6 by next weekend It might have been a bit scuppered by the afternoon tea I had on sunday though, I was given free tickets to a wedding show that included the tea. When it came it was on one of those china tiered stands. There were little sandwiches with the crusts cut off, mini fruit loaves, and little cakes. There was also a scone with jam and clotted cream and a toasted teacake. All served with champagne. I confess, I was weak and ate the sarnies, scone, tea cake and fruit loaf. I had a tiny taste of the cakes but didn't eat the lot. Still, too many sin points to count on my diet It was all delicious though
was on salad and fruit yesterday and will do the same today so that by fat club on wednesday I hope I can have undone any damage...
How are you doing queegle?

Lost 0.6kg, despite the cream cakes.
Really nervous about going to New Zealand in just over a weeks' time...

Down again...100.6kg! That's 15stone 12lb!
I am noticing muscles are showing in my arms and legs now and I actually have a neck again! I have a fairly tight necklace that used to look awful on me (it is one of those flat ones that is supposed to lie on your collar bone) but it looked really nice when I wore it last weekend.
As for clothes...I had to buy new trousers a couple of weeks ago - size 20 down from a size 24. I didn't spend much though...£8 a pair from George @ Asda! I also bought some tops at Bon Marche (2 for £12) - the label said L...not XL! Thats as far as it goes for now though - I want to slim out of them too!

I know it's a day late but here goes........ for some reason I have lost 4lb I am now down to 14st 4lb (90.7kg)
Well done Lady in a tree, I have noticed that my clothes are begining to get a bit baggy but I have vowed not to buy any new clothes until they are literally falling off me (On a low income so haven't got much money to spend on new clothes )

Shez Well done . But why do you say "for some reason"? Have you not been dieting or exercising? Did it just miraculously disappear? If the latter then I am extremely envious!
Meanwhile sloooooow progress here....
100.2kg (15stone 11lb)
1 pound a week feels like torture - especially when I am so careful and stick to my eating and exercise plans. I had to miss out on a couple of days exercise this week because of illness so I suppose I should be glad that I lost anything at all really!

Hope you're feeling better now Lady in a tree, at least you are going in the right direction, as they say 'Slowly But Surely' You Will Get There
I didn't do any exercise apart from walk to work which I do every week, that is why I couldn't understand loosing 4lb when every week so far it has been a constant loss of 2lb

shezuhura Posted Oct 24, 2004
Well have just weighed myself have only lost 1lb this week (14st 3lb)
Knew last week was just to good to be true, Oh well at least it is going in the right direction.........
I know what I will do, On Friday was weighed at the doctors and they said that I was 89.8/9 So I might just use their weighing instead of the one that I have just taken

shezuhura Posted Oct 24, 2004
forgot to say That if I took the weight taken at the doctors that would bring me down to about 14st 2lb

All scales are different - my personal favourite are the ones at my gym - they put me at 11'12 rather than the 12'7 I weighed in at on saturday.
It means I'm still stuck
Slow progress is still progress ladies, I am jealous of your pound off. I've been in this stuck zone since MID AUGUST! Want to be under 12 for christmas (originally wanted to be 11'7) and I'm doubting it will happen now

Got fat club tonight but not too optimistic I will have lost anything. On the up side, my fitness levels ar improving in leaps and bounds. For the last two nights I managed to run (without having to slow down and walk every 5 minutes or so) for a whole 30 minutes on the treadmills. I covered 3 miles! I am VERY happy about this, because although I am not shifting any weight I *am* getting fitter and I'll take my positives where I find them
Also, somebody I haven't seen for a month said she thought I had lost a lot of weight since the last time she saw me - maybe I really am replacing some fat with muscle in this stuck zone? My bra is too big again so I must have lost a bit off of my boobs. Was forced to buy a new sprots bra - oh the bliss of not bouncing around while running!
Hope you are all having a good week...

Hi everyone.
Hope you haven't forgotten me! I've rejoined WW!
My weigh in nights are Wed, so I'll report back on Thursdays!
Anxious to rejoin the fun and get some much needed support and help with my willpower.
I was 16 stone 11lbs, so if I'd stuck with it all could have been so much lighter.
I remember Lady in a Tree joining the site the same time as me!
And how well she's done , so has everyone.
Well done.

Hi again mystic, was wondering how you were getting on! How is your WW group?
My fat club has been closed down! The woman running it was a temporary woman who was covering after the last permanent one left and they have decided not to get a new permanent one. The next nearest meeting is in the next town so I'll have to go along to that instead, a bit irritating! I lost half a pound and was quite dejected as I really feel fitter, but I had a body stat analysis done today. At the end of the TV thing I was 39% fat and since then have only lost a few pounds but today I was 32% fat so I really have been turning some of my blubber into muscle Feeling quite encouraged again

Too bad about your support group (fat club still implies that "we're fat, and we're always going to be fat" - that old self fulfilling prophecy thing I hate so much), but that's really *fantastic* about the reduction in your percentage of body fat! Congrats! I'd consider that to be *much* more of an accomplishment than anything the scales could tell me.
... Although I keep hoping to have something really good to post here about what my scales say, but I'm still stuck in that same stupid 10 lb range I've been stuck in for 2 *years*.
I've upped my swimming/water exercise time to 1-1/2 hours now, maybe I'll see something change soon. (other than the chlorine content of my skin, that is )

mysticdreamer...looking forward to hearing some more positive news on Thursday!
Meanwhile...yippeeee! 99.3kg (15 stone 8lbs) this morning!
It was great seeing those double figures at last! No more triple figure kgs for me!
Hope everyone is doing well - all round!
And another big for Kelli! You go girl!

I lost another 2lb this week so now I am down to 14st 1lb (89.4kg) only another 19.4kg to go
At last I am on holiday next week so I won't be weighing myself next week {as I weigh myself at work} so will have to see what happens [but as I am not going anywhere I will still be trying to keep to my diet]
But with being at home I will be able to keep an eye on everything so everyone had better keep up the good work (comp at work is useless keeps freezing if and when it lets you on the net and is so slow even though it is broadband)

Hi peeps - you're all doing fantastically well! You're all going down!! It may be slow at times but flippin' eck, it's going doooown!!
Actually weighed meself.... scales at mum's say I'm 14st8lb. So I've put on at least a stone and a half since xmas last year
I know part of it is because I'm not doing a second job any more, it wasn't particularly exerting but did mean I was on my feet for 4 hours 4 nights a week. Want to join a gym but undertaking an important project at home at the mo', priorities at the moment! However, am eating healthily! Not doing a particular diet, just eating healthy and every few hours - it's really helping, don't feel so fatigued any more. Plus it means I'm maintaining my current weight, so any exercise will mean fat gets shifted!
Can't do up a pair of black trousers that looked really nice on me last year! So will just be happy when I can wear those again!
Stay groovy kids

mysticdreamer! Well done!
I recently calculated that I am burning off approx 675 calories each time I go to the gym I should be shrinking fast but I'm not. No fair.
I am craving pastry products this week and have no idea why! I saw a lovely caramelised onion tart in Asda - it was all of 4 inches across but contained 393 calories and 32g of fat! That's half a workout at least...just not worth it.
I might just sneak one in on Xmas day though. I have decided that I am going to eat whatever I want that day - sod the calories! I shall be good for the rest of the holidays though

Well done Mysticdreamer
Lady in a tree don't worry about the craving, the reason might be (if you don't mind me saying.....could be down to hormones.......)I only ever get the craving for chocolate at a certain time of month and I'm not a lover of chocolate...........(If it's not that time then could there be something else ??????????? [If you are not adverse to the 'something else']

well done mystic
I know in the week before 'that time of the month', I have the major munchies, especially for carby foods. Don't know why, but at least I recognise it now and try to eat a tonne of salad instead of bread.
Joined a gym on Tuesday! Bit the bullet. Haven't been yet, but it's been a torrid week. Will get in there tomorrow. I like myself better when I'm doing something good for myself.
