How should I know. YOU posted it!
*fires a couple of rounds just to stay in the mood*
Yo, Linus, you can come out of the fridge again. We should be safe now. Give us a couple of old peculiers while you're at it, will you?

Kes Posted Apr 5, 2001
*Firing at anything that moves out there ,,,*
Pass over a couple of anti-tank rounds and a cold beer, please ...

shazzPRME Posted Apr 6, 2001
*Meanwhile shazz still can't attract Kheldar's attention, so she steers straight for the rather poorly constructed picket defence, scattering a few Demosian's as she goes... Mari-rae easily picks them off from the turret*
OK... I'm going to just drive this thing straight through... it could get a bit bumpy!
Keep on firing at ANYTHING which moves... there are some very slippery characters out there!

*the pirate has a hard time hearing because of all the gunfire and hands Kes a couple of beer and a cold anti-tank round*
Awww, no, not that neat little picket fence. Breaks my heart, I swear. *Fires at 27 deimosians and a stray bunny*

Kheldar (Don't hate the media, Become the media) Posted Apr 6, 2001
Oh c'mon, you wouldn't want me to toast anything that moves the second I see it...where's the challenge in that . We want to keep it a *bit* more interesting than that don't we?
~decides that now is a good time to BBQ the Deimosian that sneaks up on mari-rae~
There you go Pierce, you want some sauce with that?
Calling all BFGs
shazzPRME Posted Apr 6, 2001
*shazz by now has reached the sweet little picket fence which looms larger and larger as she approaches. Unfortunately the forward gun barrel catches between the slats, so the whole fence lifts up and wraps itself around the vehicle*
Arghhhhhhh! I can't see where I'm going now! Can someone see if they can free that bloomin fence... goodness knows what we are driving into now!

I'll do it... ~grumbling~
*climbs out of the turret and clings to the outside of the APC. Slides out onto the main gun and begins to struggle to lift off the picket fence. It won't budge. The APC bounces over a few Demosians and she breaks a nail... *
SONUVA... a little help out here, please?
*ducks down as she is being fired upon from the hill to their right.*
sheesh!

Wowbagger Posted Apr 6, 2001
Glad to oblige.
*Leaps out and begins to help mari-rae. Finds the turrent a rather slippery affair.*
OW! A splinter! Sheesh! This picket fence has teeth!
Hmmm, I have an idea m'dear. Hang on!
DRIVER! HARD LEFT!
*The sharp change in trajectory provides the extra aid necessary in dislodging the fence, but pretty disasterous for mari-rae and Wowbagger, who find themselves dangling from the turrent. Wb smiles weakly at mari-rae*
Hmmm, this is another fine mess I've got us into.

shazzPRME Posted Apr 7, 2001
Not good! Not good at all!
We seriously need to think of something quick here!
*turns APC at 90 degrees so that the turret is away from the rather increased fire emanating from the Demosians!*
Maybe if Pierce could stop eating fo a minute, he may come up with a good idea... do we have any liferafts or grabbers or anything remotely which can rescue Wb and Mari-rae from their predicament?

There are some bolt cutters in the toolkit. Shall I pass 'em out to you guys?
Calling all BFGs
Kes Posted Apr 8, 2001
*Hands a bolt cutter across*
Here mari! See if you can cut free of the fence. Do you need a hand?

Wowbagger? I'm slipping...
*Life passes before her eyes... a way too brief flash.*

Kes Posted Apr 8, 2001
*Grabs mari by the belt and holds on.*
Hey! Someone give me a hand here!
*Tries to pull her back into the cabin.*

*shazz ties a piece of string to the steering wheel ( the most appropriate way to engage the auto pilot) and grabs hold of Mari-rae's belt*
Hold on there MR!
Lets all pray for Wb... he looks as if he is also in difficulty!
