As for appearing on the roll of honour I'm not so sure does it mean contributing regularlyto the post? if so I was thinking of giving up h2g2 come sept

No - it just means, seeing as you've joined in on the BFG page, that you are mentioned on the page as actually belonging to our group. Don't worry, you don't even have to post very regularly! Quite a lot of them just drop by occasionally.
It's nothing to do with <./>ThePost</.> at all!
