Maybe Kes expects fine wether. Usually the ceremonies are in enclosed spaces.

*Draws flaming sword for people to huddle around and keep warm.*
Shouldn't names stay the same? I mean, you're still the same person, only a angel.

Don't worry, the sword only burns who and what I want it to burn.
Calling yourself 'Saint' may help, otherwise 'Guardian angel of...'

Just a small musing on changing your names.
It of course completely up to you and only you what you enter in the nickname field. It is only polite to try to keep the first part, that identifies you, about the same, so people will still recognise you.
A risk with a too long nickname part may be that in conversations you may find others too lazy to type it all, and just abbreviate it.
** waves at AGB **
So if you want to put your being a GA or your patronage in your name, help yourself.
If you put it on your personal space, you can also add the drop-downlist and turn things into links.

I think in the past most have changed to something along the lines of 'St [name], Patron Saint of [patronage]', obviously changing the bits that need changing...

*Squeak-aaaw ....Squeak-aaaw ....Squeak-aaaw ....*
*Kes pushes the drinks trolley onto the pitch, and locates it conveniently close to the front row of seats.*
We'll have the podium for the ceremony close to the seats ... right here ... very handy for drinks. I've mixed a huge batch of PGGB to keep us all going. Remind me to put in a bit of practice with the Sainting Sword .... Hati got quite upset about the cut flowers after the last ceremony, and the First Aid Cherub is on holiday this week.

Hmm, I think I will seek a seat more than a swordlength from the podium
** put some AA-batteries in a loader and starts reloading **
Kes, when you start with the sword, make sure you have fresh batteries. It gets a bit unpredictable when low on juice.
** checks if his new DU mug will hold better than titanium reinforced steel **
Just a bit of smoke and some extra scintillation.
