its nice to here someone so happy. im lss depressed now. i dont know why, but its kind of nice. my life is dominated by ASs at the moment though. And a play im directing. which is on tueday. just started on the set. and purchasing props. still got lighting sounds a big rope and endless other things to do. omigod. apart from this its the dull omontony of school broken up by the slightly less dull weekly pub ritual. yes. i live to have two furtive pints in a pub on saturday. i am that broken by these new ASs

Ahh well ... with someone like Jenny around at least this is a nice place to hang out! I too get a bit down sometimes. Ahh hell, one can't be up and bright and cheery all the time! When I go into a funk I do it good and even get some fun out of it! Roll around on the ground in agony and misery for a while, ahhh that feels good!

pessimism of the intellect, optimism of the will. or plan for the worst and hope for the best. Every cloud has a silver lining, and many a mickle macks a muckle. etc.

if you are optomistic about the world, you are setting yourself up for a fall

Why are you two such a miserable pair of old buggers. Doesn't the sunshine on your planet? Are there not any daisys or pretty girls? Don't pubs exist? Cheer up you...
Without a bit of optimism or imagination things won't get any better. Yes, the world is run by badmen intent on messing it all up, yes there is misery and poverty all over the place and yes Bush is President of the most powerful state in the world.
But at least its getting sunny, and at least there are a helluva lot of people out there who are mostly harmless.
Have a lemonade, go for a nice walk and try to get a sense of proportion...

You know what an optimist I am? I say, thank God for George W. Bush because at least we can have a few laughs on his account!

Plenty of girls who I like but they like me only as a friend (very infuriating)
No time to go to the pub, despite the fact I am underage(though they probably would serve me considering I look about 20.
And I am in great fear over being a guineepig in a system not fully tested out, in which we have only just in some cases finished the courses and in which exams begin in two weeks and the exam boards and government say we should have been revising for the last three weeks. HOW IF WE HADN'T FINISHED THE SYLABUS AND WERE STILL GETTING HOMEWORKS AND COURSEWORKS WERE WE MEANT TO REVISE?!?

Being a gineapig in the system is a natural state of affairs for all of us. No one knows what they are doing exactly, not teachers, not politicians, not town planners, not economists, not anyone really.
As soon as the exams are over you can have the most cracking summer of booze and fun. It don't get much better than the afternoon in the pub after your last exam. I would bet you can get at least a snog then as the combined release of stress enzymes, relaxation hormones, cyder and pernod and teenage fluids flows in the post exam party situation. Just you wait...
Besides, in ten years you really won't give a toss about your A-levels and will have difficulty remembering what they were when it comes to writing your CV. Take a chill pill buddy, grin and bear it 4 now and let rip afterwards.
