*hands round a packet of Fruit Pastilles*
Fruit Pastilles are clearly one of the more divine foodstuffs on earth and available in either packets, bags or boxes they are also one of the most easily accesible. The question is can you eat them without chewing and more to the point, which is the nicest flavour? My vote is clearly with the red ones but it has been known for people to reject these...which is it?

Good choice...but you won't actually get a red fruit pastille as I've eaten them for 'research' purposes

All the jellies in all the world of course...especially the fish shaped ones from Thorntons
I think the jelly thing probably comes from the fact that my friends banned me from eating them as they seem to have a strange effect on me...kinda like alcohol does on most people but to me Fruit pastilles cause me to sit grinning for hours on end
*realises that having just eaten several Fruit Gums she is now grinning*
It can get quite annoying I think
*looks confused*
Silverstone??? Are you sure you're not from the ministry of bewilderment? I'm going to Mudstone too...you'll be able to spot me by the pile of Fruit pastilles aorund me and the big grin

Well you started it I'd have been quite happy chatting in the same place but then you started running between forum and forum and I had to follow...sad thing is I only logged on to check my e-mails before I wrote a letter to my mate and that was 5 hours ago
Did you ban your friend from eating them? Actually they only banned me for a while after a bit they gave up as I was still eating them anyway and it's quite amusing at some points
Only too happy to oblige...but I suspect you never read my post in the F&F after Schumi won the championship
I'm sorry but if you're even going to attempt to claim you found a place with more mud than this years GP then I'm just going to be forced to show you my photos...all 4 albums Worse than that I might make you read the article I wrote to allow extra grinning at Menza...and that goes on at random for ever

The Fish Posted Oct 28, 2000
Well you had to reply didn't you
No I encouraged her There's nothing worse than a friend being discouraging ...
Sadly no, I didn't read your post... But I did read your article It's really funny in places

Tinkerbell *tumbleweed* Posted Oct 28, 2000
Well you've replied more
You encouraged your friend to be grinning? I don't suppsoe you bought them Fruit Pastilles did you
I think it should be gladly you didn't read the post...It alleged to be about Suzuka but consisted of pages of grins and singing
*thinks*
Funny? It's a serious documentary style report of what actually happened...I actually wrote it as an e-mail to some friends who wnated to know what had happened which is why it's so long as I never bothered editing it I just pasted as I didn't actually expect anyone except for Menza and EV to read it
You want to see the photographs? What really? Please bear in mind that I may now be forced to show you all the pictures from everytime I've ever been to Mudstone...
*grins*
And the ones of Richard Burns and I

I'm sorry, I'm addicted to having no backlog of unreplied posts
Well just a few boxes
I'm sure it was an impressive post
Sorry, maybe I'm odd, or just reading between the lines or something... But certain bits made me laugh

Tinkerbell *tumbleweed* Posted Oct 28, 2000
Me too...that's why my sociology essy is sat right over there looking at me in a guilt inducing fashion
People always buy me Fruit pastilles now as they know how amusing it is...sadly they've also worked out the novelty value of alcoholic jelly
*grins*
Ok so bits of it were meant to be funny but I'm guessing that you probably found the serious bits amusing...it did all happen though and I have pictures of the picnic table floating down the pit lane in a muddy river
*starts giggling at the thought of it*

Peregrin Posted Oct 28, 2000
Hey, that suits me... You eat the black ones, I'll eat the rest of them :-p
*Throws a fruit pastille up in the air, aiming to catch it in his mouth, but it bounces off his nose and onto the floor, where a passing labrador eats it*
Fruit pastilles
Peregrin Posted Oct 29, 2000
Labradors love fruit pastilles... if you drop one on the floor they'll go straight for them. Mind you, they'll eat pretty much anything you drop on the floor... edible or not...

*Pokes The Fish* Have you fallen asleep again?
When's the next delivery of fruit pastilles due? I've eaten all the green ones already.
