This is perhaps our first introduction to the wonderous nature of Jelly and is generally of the red variety and served with icecream or cream. Either way it's still delicious and deserves discussion

I always liked doing two-layered jellies, which was possible as my mum owns a jelly mould which holds two pints. Of course, I normally couldn't be bothered to wait for a party, so it would be force-fed to familly members for two days running.

Did you see that on "Why Don't You"?
*remembers the recipe they gave for Digestive milk which she insisted on making everyone drink even though it was vile*

No, I didn't know they did that, but I didn't watch it that much. One of my friends appeared on it (for which she had the Michael extracted for approximately the following decade), so you'd think that if I'd seen any, it would have been one of those ones, but no.
Digestive milk? It even *sounds* disgusting.

I'm not really here Posted Oct 30, 2000
I like making shapes like rabbits and sitting them on "grass". (Green jelly.)

Digestive milk was acky which is why my brother laughed at me the whole time I was making it and then he laughed more as I bravely drank it...you whacked a load of digestive biscuits with a rolling pin and then put them in milk I seem to think, wasn't the greatest thing I've ever tasted

It does actually deserve that response though it was awful...not as bad as Lilt with salt but that was a childrens dare whereas the digestive milk was volutary
I could make you some if you like...

Tinkerbell *tumbleweed* Posted Nov 3, 2000
So that's a yes then...I'll send the recipe on to the pub you're having the meet up in and ask them to make some for you

The Fish Posted Nov 5, 2000
Sorry... Not trying to nag or anything.... but it's nice to meet nice people like you and the others

You're not nagging if anything you're vaguely convincing me, it's just me being indecisive and awkward It would be fun...

Bagpuss Posted Nov 5, 2000
I used to be indecisive, but
Actually, I won't do that joke.
I'm waiting for a northern meet-up meself.
Jelly at Childrens Parties.
Tinkerbell *tumbleweed* Posted Nov 5, 2000
I did sulk and try to demand a northern meet-up but I got out voted, we tried Nottingham, Blackpool, York, Alton Towers, Manchester and Leeds but all to no avail
I even attempted to demand Oxford which would have been so much better as I could have definitely gone to that but I think there are far fewer northern researchers than London based ones so we didn't stand much chance
