You should do what I do and put off something that needs doing until it needs doing extremely urgently. It gives you a lot more free time to errrm do whatever it is I do with all the free time I have.

It seems like a good plan but the control freak I keep buried deep inside my relaxed facade would objectand I would just find another list of things to do and end up running around again!Phew what a truly multi tasking woman I am

I'm a bloke. I monotask. The trouble is I think I have ADD as well so I usually end up monotasking a lot of things at once but never actually finishing any of them....
ME
xxxxxxxxxxxx Posted Jun 19, 2005
Monotasking and ADD that explains why you ironing everyday then
Try making a list of things to do and crossing them off one by one when you complete them(that control freak just keeps surfacing when I least expect it)

No absolutely forgetting stuff usually works for me...
Then when I realise I've forgotten it, it becomes urgent so I have to do it...
ME
xxxxxxxxxxxx Posted Jun 19, 2005
You just love the thrill of almost forgeting something urgent don't you?
Have you remembered something urgent far too late to do it !
ME
Ash Posted Jun 19, 2005
No I usually forget about stuff that's far too late to do.
It's what shrugs are made for.
ME
Ash Posted Jun 20, 2005
A list of various shrugs?
Or perhaps the exercise I should be doing...?
Or do you mean the things I'm supposed to remember?
I've got a great memory. Lists. Pah.
I remember everything that I have ever experienced, seen, or done,or need to do.
However, finding the particular slot of my brain that stored all the stuff that I need to know when I need to know it takes a little time...
Give me a year or so and I'll come up with the goods though....

Got your own filing system in your brain and you grade things on levels of urgency ,utmost urgency and too late
I make lists for everything ,shopping, things to do,study and things I want to do but haven't yetI often lose the lists and find older ones in my bag which really confuses meThink I am just a confused peson naturally
Have I confused you yet?
ME
Ash Posted Jun 21, 2005
No.
Since confusion is my natural state, I'm not really confused.
I know someone that makes lists.
In fact they have endless numbers of bits of paper that populate their pockets, all with things to do or buy on them...
They remember marginally less than I do...
ME
xxxxxxxxxxxx Posted Jun 22, 2005
Lots of lost lists and lots of old lists contribute to my natural confusionA bit of chaos every now and then doesn't do any harm.
What have you been doing today?
I was at college but today was my last day until Augustpity I have to keep studying through the summer holidays*sighs*

Working today..
Failed to capture the picture of a buzzard I was after... And just getting ready to do last nights dishes...
The fun never stops.

Last night's washing up I wouldn't have been able to sleep if I had left the washing up,I think I suffer from a mild form of compulsive cleaning disorder
The buzzards are looking splendid at the moment, well fed and preened ,they have a favorite perch they sit on(near the rabbit warrens)and I am convinced they hear the camera before it clicks because they always move
Even with the zoom lens on ,I can never do them justice

I can't even get a shot at a distance....
Today for instance there was onme perched on a telegraph pole about 50 yards up the road. I pulled in a got my camera out... two big lorries drove very close to the pole and it flew of towards the fields.
Disappointed, I packed my camera away again and turned to check the road was clear before reversing..Gliding low in the air not twenty feet from my car was the self same buzzard...
I ed for the UK....
