That means I have to talk about me and believe me I'm very dull.
I know someone that likes Katherine Jenkins, but I'm not sure if it was an expression of his musical taste....
And I know someone else who liked the British Eurovision song, I still haven't heard it myself and have no desire to.
Let's talk about you instead.
Errm, what kind of music do you like?
I'm good at this aren't I?smiley - ok

A secret side to me? Am I shy?
No, if I were shy I think hiding behind a pseudonym behind a pseudonym on a forum where the whole world posts would make me a bit braver...I'm just not interested in me.
So what kind of movies do you like (see a different question I am good at this smiley - ok)?

ME

Post 26

Well I like lots of different kinds of movies depending on what mood I am in(am not at all feisty)I do love old movies all the classics, but I have a liking for French films too.I like thrillers ,murder mysterys, comedies, period dramas come to think of it I just like moviessmiley - biggrin

I did suggest that I prefer not to talk about me.
Would you like to discuss this in private somewhere?
I hear the Mary Rose has a good bar on it, and other people have stopped posting... it's like the whole pub watching you with a female they know you'll never pull....That or they've lost interest in me....or you, or whoever....
I had dogs for a while, now I have spiders and woodlice...smiley - biggrin

Spiders are one of my favourite things(they eat greenfly and whitefly which is great)I have the biggest spider that lives in the corner of the greenhouse and he looks after my seedlings for me by eating the aphidssmiley - evilgrin.

I like spiders immensely, though I do have an odd fear of the larger more rangey types..
Wasps and things vaguely wasp related I dislike intensely, I'm not sure if it's because they are scaley jointed and alien looking or because they keep stinging me...I tend toward the latter theory because they do.
Snakes I like (they also eat various bugs) but sadly on my one encounter with something that wasn't a grass snake (in this country) I kinda screamed (I was 10 at the time) the snake left hurriedly. I still haven't successfully identified it but I'm fairly sure it wasn't a native.

Oh you should give wasps and hornets another chance they are mostly splendid chaps although I have been stung a couple of times myself, but I guess they are just doing what comes naturally.Hover flies are even nicer they are the insect equivalent of Harrier jump jets ,ace fliers and strange behaviour I really like them.
Maybe the snake you saw was an addersmiley - yikes

Post 33

Ash

Nope, it wasn't an adder.
Hornets I can deal with, I haven't been stung by one yet....(This despite the fact there was a nest in the bit of roof below my bedroom window for 4 years in succession)
And I have seen a wasp take a bluebottle out of the air....
But, since, as a kid, I had one invade my bed and sting me while I was asleep I haven't felt the same toward them....

That happened to me last year a wasp stung me when I was asleep and when I woke up it was squashed into my pillow!I have seen a Butterfly fight a waspsmiley - wowSadly the wasp won but the butterfly put up a brave fightsmiley - sadface

So it goes.
You may be right about the adder/viper....
Had another look and they come in a wide range of colours, this one was solid grey with a yellow squiggle on it's head....
They rarely bite though.

What is Somerset like to live in then?Very picturesque am sure ,go on tell me because that isn't talking about yourself just a placesmiley - smiley

Somerset:
The countryside is pleasant, it's rolling hills a patchwork of fields and trees. The weather is generally warmer than it would be further north and the locals are usually friendly, unless of course you encounter one of the chavs that seem to be popping up everywhere like a plague.
The racial mix in the towns is becoming quite diverse due to the influx of EU workers into the factories hereabouts.. Czechs, Poles, Portuguese and Spaniards are not uncommon.
Among the local wildlife there are Buzzards, Sparrow hawks, Tawny, Little and Barn Owls, Kingfishers, various bats, a few species of deer, badgers and foxes.
The flora is also diverse, with some wild Orchids growing in a few fields and pathways...
The pace of life was something of a shock when I first moved down here but appears to be picking up somewhat these days as the 20th century creeps in.
And yes, large swathes of it are picturesque.
I hope this answers your question.smiley - biggrin

Sounds idyllicsmiley - smileyI envy you the warmth it is am afraid a lot colder this far north. A diverse mix of cultures is a good thing I think,we can all learn something from each other.
We have wild orchids here I smiley - love them.Very little sightings of barn owls though, but a lot of hawks, buzzards and birds in general.
Are you an outside kind of guy ?I do enjoy the countryside and wildlife,I loathe being couped up inside it makes me a little crazy(well crazier than I already am then)smiley - biggrin
